Location Base Camp 2 on Mountain Road, Hedgehog Village in Coplin Plantation

Details: Coming from the south on Route 27, their camp is in Hedgehog Village in Coplin Plantation. Hedgehog Village is a left turn off of Rt. 27, roughly 6 miles north of the access road to Sugarloaf. Keep your eye out for the Mountain View Motel on the right just before the Coplin/Wyman town line. This is very close to the turn off of Rt. 27. Just after the motel, you will go up over a hill and then as you go back down the hill headed north, Porcupine Trail is on the left at the bottom. After turning on to Porcupine Trail, proceed along the camp road for about a mile. Pass Bog Road on your right. You will continue to follow Porcupine Trail past a brown camp on your right. After the brown camp, Porcupine turns to the right sharply. Do not take this turn. Stay to the left and head UP the hill which will now be Mountain Road. We are the 2nd camp on the right, just behind the log cabin with the sign “Chill Inn.” Our camp is blue with a gray metal roof. There is a fish by the door that says “Base Camp 2.”
