Seguin Island Update

The Day Tripper Event we scheduled for Sequin Island  will be held dependent on weather because of the Island's exposure. High Winds and Seas are not pleasant boating days. So should conditions predict unpleasant boating to Sequin Island, we plan to use this Email system and inform Day Trippers that the alternate calm water location will be Hodgdon Cove located in Townsend Gut passage near the north end.

We will use Channel 9 also on the Half Hour starting at 9:00 am on the day of the event, to announce Sequin or Townsend Gut, ( Hodgdon Cove ).

If the day trip to Sequin weather co-operates, you will find six possible moorings and the tide will be right for the cove where we will raft up for lunch and those who go ashore can climb the path to the light house and go inside the Light House and Museum at the top.
