THE DEYC SUMMER CRUISE –the “fun club cruise” July 7-15

Wow – it’s May! July is just around the corner…….

Friday, July 7: Send off Party at Luke’s Boatyard. Bring appetizers to share. Woody

Wagon provided. Cmdr. Tim & Pam Parker Host

Saturday, July 8: Maple Juice Cove - Happy Hour mixer in small groups on host

boats. Wine provided. No need to go ashore. Great place to kayak or explore on land but no

organized activity on land. Ron & Lorrie Richardson hosts. Anchoring

Sunday, July 9: Rockland – BYOB BBQ on shore jointly with Rockland YC at their new

facility at the Town Dock – time late afternoon. Mac & Barb Gray hosts. Everyone is

responsible for reserving their own mooring or dock space in the harbor

Monday, July 10: Seal Bay, west of Hay Island - dinghy races in later part of the

afternoon followed by dinghy tie up with beer and wine provided.

Brent & Susan Pope – hosts. Anchoring.

Tuesday, July 11: Wooden Boat School - Group BYOB gathering using large Pole Barn

shelter. Tours of the school can be arranged. Good place to walk around or just enjoy the

sunset. Happy Hour ashore. Bring your dinner ashore too if you like (no grills).

Wednesday, July 12: Stockton Springs – party ashore. BYOB/food for cook out on shore.

Grills available, charcoal provided. Ed Gillis & Fred Ludge hosts. Anchoring

Thursday, July 13: Belfast - at the Front Street Shipyard. Happy Hour dock party.

Andy & Alice Mutch Hosts. Everyone is responsible for moorings or dock space.

Friday, July 14: Camden. Party on shore with buffet dinner at CYC. Cost @$30 per

person. Brian & Nancy Strong Hosts. Everyone is responsible for reserving their own mooring

or dock space.

Saturday, July 15: Port Clyde for those heading back to BBH. Gathering at the Dip Net,

pay as you go dinner. Everyone responsible for reserving your own mooring.

To help with your cruise committee’s planning, please let us know which ports you plan

to attend on the cruise. This will assist us in planning dinners and shore activities.
