DOWN EAST YACHT CLUB

Time:  1200 – 1600 Hours

Cost:  Members:  $15.00 per lobster
             Guests: $20.00 per lobster

Boiled Lobsters, Corn on the cob, and Blueberry Cake will be served.  Members are welcome to bring their own lunch as an alternative, BYOB.  
Members should bring folding chairs.  

Location:  Spectacle Island (North of Southport Island)  
By sea:  From Sheepscot River pass between Dogfish Head & Green Island.  Head for Cameron Point.  The island will be on your left.  From Boothbay Harbor proceed to Townsend Gut.  Pass through Swing Bridge and proceed to Cameron Point, leaving N6 to starboard & day marker to port.  Proceed west, keeping C3 (Cameron Marker C3) to starboard and N2 to port.  Island affords anchorage on the West, East and North sides.  Dinghy shuttles will ferry people ashore but there is no dock    
By land:  If you no longer have a boat or otherwise need transportation to the island, we will be arranging pick-ups at the Knickercane boat ramp dock (W Barters Island Road, Boothbay) . Please indicate on the reply form, how many in your party for pick-up and we will contract you with further details.  

Remember to wear your name tag.
